FirstPort Limited in Hailsham, East Sussex, is seeking a Visiting Development Manager to oversee a 20-hour-per-week role with a focus on resident care and building safety.

You will maintain a high profile around the development, manage contractors, and support a Residents Association while building strong relationships with residents and local authorities. The position offers a pro rata salary plus benefits.

• Maintain a high profile around the development and office, checking residents per requirements.
• Perform daily site checks to keep building safe, with data kept securely.
• Manage works, raise orders, supervise contractors, sign off completions.
• Encourage Residents Association and social events to boost community.
• Build links with residents’ families, authorities, and health officials as needed.
• In emergencies, contact the appropriate response teams.
• Assist with sales listed with Retirement Homesearch, welcome new residents.
• Coordinate with local Development Managers and attend team meetings monthly.
