Job summary

FirstPort Limited in Eastleigh is seeking a Visiting Development Manager to oversee residential developments, ensuring safety, compliance and excellent resident service. The role involves managing contractors, coordinating with local authorities and supporting residents while promoting community initiatives.

You will work 30 hours per week with flexible hours, be the on-site presence for the development, and collaborate with a team of Development Managers to deliver effective property management

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a face-to-face environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve issues.
• Understanding of health and safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
• Organised, methodical and capable of keeping accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high profile around the development / office and monitor residents.
• Carry out daily checks to ensure the building is safe and secure; maintain records.
• Manage works, raise orders, oversee contractors and sign off completion.
• Support formation of a Residents Association and community/social activities.
• Build links with residents' families, authorities, doctors and social workers as needed.
• Respond to emergencies by contacting the appropriate team or authorities.
• Assist with sales with partner Retirement Homesearch and welcome new residents.
• Collaborate with local Development Managers and travel to meetings monthly/annually.
