Job summary

Chartwells Independent in Fareham is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 22.5 hours per week and 43.8 weeks per year. You will prepare food to high standards, supervise kitchens and service teams, monitor KPIs with your line manager, and represent the brand. Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
