Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting a part-time Catering Supervisor to oversee all Chartwells catering and service operations for Compass Group UK&I. The position is contracted to 25 hours per week and 43.8 weeks per year.

You will supervise kitchens and service counters to deliver excellent food experiences, support teams, and monitor KPIs while upholding health and safety standards. Chartwells values individuality and invests in its people.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated and keen to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and our teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
