Job summary

Nationwide is hiring a Customer Representative for our Taunton, Somerset branch. This 12-month Fixed Term Contract is full-time at 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. You will engage customers in person, over the phone and online, guiding them through everyday banking decisions and digital tools.

You’ll join a branch that remains open nationwide and offers training, a bonus and a range of benefits to support your wellbeing and financial security.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or banking is helpful.
• Able to assist customers in branch, over the phone and online.
• Flexibility to work across weekdays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experiences across branch, phone and digital channels.
• Handle transactions and queries accurately with security and fairness in mind.
• Guide customers to banking products and services that fit their needs.
• Support colleagues in a busy branch to ensure great service at peak times.
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
• Keep face-to-face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street.
