Overview

Part time Bookkeeper – 14 hours per week, worked over two or three days. Fully on-site in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Salary circa £16 per hour dependent on experience. We are pleased to assist a fantastic local business with their search for a part-time bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for anybody local to Saddleworth, with strong accountancy experience and needing a role to work around or complement other commitments.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, aged debtors, credit control
• Processing journals, balance sheet & wages reconciliations
• Processing payroll (circa. 25 staff) pension and HMRC/Pensions Regulator reporting
• Updating policies and procedures, streamlining accounts processes to maximise efficiency and reduce errors

Requirements & Qualifications

• Significant experience in a similar role
• Well versed with SAGE and IRIS
• Ideally AAT qualified
• Standalone role, with external accountancy firm handles month/year end and audit; ability to manage and maintain own workload
• Strong communication, focus, accuracy and integrity

Offer & Logistics

• Salary around £16.00 per hour (negotiable), dependent on experience
