Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative in Bilston to provide face-to-face, phone, and online support. You will help customers with transactions, queries, and guidance on banking services and digital tools, across a team-focused branch environment.

This part-time role (21 hours/week, Mon–Sat) requires a customer-centric approach and a commitment to excellent service. Salary is pro rata for part-time work, with full training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn banking products.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while keeping customer needs, security, and fairness front of mind.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that are right for them, helping them manage their money with confidence.
• Work closely with colleagues within a busy branch environment, supporting one another to deliver excellent customer service even at peak times.
• Take responsibility for doing things the right way, following processes, spotting issues, and escalating concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
