Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to repair parcel lockers on client sites, handling break-fix, maintenance, software configuration, quality control, and providing technical training to staff and subcontractors. The role supports rapid scaling and international projects.

The ideal candidate will have field service experience on electrical/mechanical equipment, be proficient with hand tools and a multimeter, travel as needed, and be comfortable working across the UK and with

Qualifications

Experience in field service engineering for electrical/mechanical equipment.
Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic tools (multimeter).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to train others.
Ability to manage tasks across multiple markets with quality and deadlines.
High accuracy in quality control and documentation.
Experience with international teams and subcontractors.
Willingness to travel UK and internationally.
Familiarity with parcel locker systems and IT tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults of parcel locker machines on site, ensuring minimal downtime.
Maintain and modernise lockers with hardware and software upgrades.
Configure and install software/firmware for equipment, ensuring security compliance.
Report repairs using internal communication channels.
Manage tools and components for lockers.
Provide technical support and training to employees and subcontractors.
Develop solutions for new locker types and prepare technical manuals.
