UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Altcourse, a category B prison located in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool. Within this role, youll be an integral part of the healthcare team. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Within this role, you will work within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. Salary: This position is full time, you'll receive a salary of between £43,609 and £49,174 depending on experience. Hours: 37.5 hours worked on a shift basis: 7am - 8pm 8am - 9pm 9am - 10pm 7.45pm - 7.15am You will work on a rota basis covering weekends on rotation, and nights as required to cover staff leave and sickness.

  • Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
  • Deliver non‑judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
  • Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

  • Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness.
