We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team. Position Overview

As an Executive Assistant for the development department, you will support the studio’s creative development process, helping in the production of pitch-ready materials. You will work closely with the Head of Development and Development Producer in a collaborative role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as enthusiasm for the purpose driven content creation that Paper Owl Films is passionate about.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production management of development materials
  • Diary management for the development team
  • Coordinate freelance and in house talent and activities for production of materials
  • Support the preparation of pitch decks, presentations, and visual materials for broadcasters and partners
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation, tracking progress, feedback, and deadlines
  • Act as a point of contact between the development team, freelancer talent and external stakeholders
  • Schedule and take notes in development meetings, distributing updates and action points
  • Ensure timely follow-up on creative and administrative tasks
  • Organize project timelines and track deliverables to keep development projects on schedule
  • Support budgeting and resource tracking for development-related activities
  • Maintain an organized archive of creative assets, pitches, and reference material
  • Anticipate and flag potential challenges in the development process
  • Suggest practical solutions to keep projects moving forward smoothly
  • Stay adaptable and responsive in a dynamic creative environment
