About the Role

As a Palace Host, you’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team helping deliver exceptional visitor experiences during the exciting summer season. From the annual Music Festival and Food Festivals to live interpretation and special events, you’ll play a key role in welcoming and engaging visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting visitors and providing outstanding customer service
  • Monitoring historic rooms and ensuring the safety of collections
  • Checking tickets at entrances and supporting event operations
  • Maintaining site security and assisting with visitor safety
  • Working both indoors and outdoors, including some evening events
About You
  • Previous experience in customer service or security
  • A good level of fitness for a role that involves being on your feet and moving around the site
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
  • An interest in history is a bonus, but not essential
  • Full training will be provided
