Role Summary

Seasonal Palace Host – Exhibition Support Staff at Kensington Palace

We are an independent charity caring for six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. This role supports the 2026 exhibition "The Last Princesses of Punjab" at Kensington Palace.

Dates & Hours

Season: 9 March 2026 – 8 November 2026 (full season); shorter contract 9 March 2026 – 13 September 2026 available. Full‑time and part‑time roles (2–5 days per week), including weekends and bank holidays.

Salary: PR11.3 – £13.85 per hour (≈ £27,908 per annum pro‑rata for 38.75 hrs/week).

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service and create memorable visitor experiences.


• Conduct bag searching, wayfinding, and manage entrance procedures including queue management.


• Hand out and collect Palaces Audio guides.


• Ensure day‑to‑day safety and security of the palaces, collection, and guests.


• Cross‑role support for Palace Host Guides and Palace Host Sales.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in customer service, security, or visitor experience.


• Positive, flexible approach; able to adapt style to visitor needs.


• Ability to work as part of a team.
