Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust in Bath seeks a highly organised Patient Pathway Manager to ensure a smooth, efficient service from referral to follow-up. You’ll work with the Support Manager and wider stakeholders to help meet performance, quality and financial targets while upholding patient-centred care.

The role focuses on coordinating the patient pathway, leading administrative staff, and providing a comprehensive secretarial service within a supportive NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of using Microsoft packages.
• A Levels or further education.
• Word processing / audio typing qualifications.
• Desirable criteria: Understanding of RTT and Cerner Millennium.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the patient pathway and ensure timely progression.
• Act as central contact point for colleagues, GPs, patients and the public.
• Lead and coordinate administrative services supporting patient activity.
• Monitor pathways in line with RTT targets and Trust policy.
• Organise and support the administrative team; provide a comprehensive secretarial service.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management.
