A healthcare provider in Chertsey is seeking a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant. This role involves supporting children with various developmental, physical, and sensory needs. You will work under the supervision of Occupational Therapists to assist in assessments and deliver therapy services. Responsibilities include planning therapeutic activities, communicating with families, and working collaboratively in various settings. If you're passionate about child-centred therapy, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Paediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. In this rewarding role, you will support the delivery of high-quality Occupational Therapy services for children with a wide range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs.
Working closely under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists, you will contribute to assessment, intervention, and ongoing care, helping children and their families to develop skills and confidence in self‑management.
As an integral member of the Paediatric OT team, you will carry out both general and specialist clinical tasks, delivering delegated aspects of therapy care plans and, when appropriate, working as an autonomous practitioner. Your work will span a variety of settings, including health centres, nurseries, specialist schools, and children’s homes, where you will provide hands‑on support to aid physical management and functional development.
You will also play a key role in facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, supporting care pathways, and assisting with administrative tasks such as specialist equipment provision.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and families and who thrives in a collaborative, child‑centred environment. If you are motivated, compassionate, and eager to develop your skills within paediatric therapy, we would love to hear from you.
