Job description

At Change Grow Live we strive to ensure our services are warm and welcoming environments. Working with the Be Smoke Free service, you will be a vital part of the team. You'll work closely alongside our team to help support our new and existing service users on their smoke free journey. You'll be packing Nicotine Replacement Therapies and other smoking cessation aides, work closely alongside Stop Smoking Advisors, Tobacco Addiction Specialist Nurses and Community Engagement Couriers, and provide administrative support to the wider Be Smoke Free team. We're looking for someone warm and welcoming with great organisational skills to help us provide an efficient and prompt delivery service of medications to assist people with stopping smoking. You will be engaging in administrative duties and working as a team to provide excellent support to service users and colleagues alike.

Where: Manchester
Hours: Part time 22.5 hours per week
Full Time Salary: £25,077 (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities
  • To pack medications as directed through our Quit Manager system.
  • Provide new and existing service users with a friendly and welcoming experience, ensuring that queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to managing an effective packing system; ensuring medications are chosen and packed correctly and the expiry dates and batch numbers are recorded correctly.
  • Access and record accurately on Delivery Request Spreadsheets.
  • Help to manage our delivery process and work alongside Community Engagement couriers to organise delivery routes.
  • Provide basic advice information on the service offered. Have anawareness of the wider organisation.
  • Take messages for staff and update case management contacts where appropriate.
  • Support the team with the packaging of medications for delivery. This may also include helping to manage the medication spreadsheet.
  • Ensuring a safe and organised storage of medication through putting away deliveries promptly and efficient stock rotation.
  • Ensuring stock management procedures are being followed by conducting regular stock management checks and any stock that is low is escalated when appropriate.
  • Ordering medication stock and office equipment to enable efficient packing from suppliers when required.

  • Experience of communicating clearly and effectively with service users and team members.
  • A commitment to seek learning opportunities to improve and broaden your own professional knowledge and skills and to contribute to and where relevant oversee the learning of others.
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to actively participate in regular supervision.
  • Willingness to attend induction training and ongoing development training.
  • IT literacy, including use of Microsoft packages and databases.
