About the role

Our Rochester, MN location is part of our Foundational Technologies and specializes in fermented ingredients for products related to the bio‑science industry. Our team is proud of the work they do and have a focus on clean label or natural products ensuring freshness.

Hourly Rate: $21/hr + $2,000 sign on bonus after 90 days of service

Shift/Working Hours: rotating 12‑hour shift - 4:45 am to 5:15 pm

Key responsibilities

Stages and blends ingredients, packages products, and COPs all blending and packaging equipment during scheduled cleaning periods. Follows established procedures to achieve QC approved products.

What you'll do:

• Performs daily set up, cleaning and operation of powders packaging, cultures packaging, and liquid packaging equipment.
• Performs daily HACCP checks for packaging equipment, (screen checks, metal detector, and tool check list) and understands the importance of this checklist.
• Issues and receives materials in SAP.
• Washes and cleans equipment per the sanitation manual. Follows GMP program and rules.
• Operates forklift per training procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills

Education and/or Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• Manufacturing/maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel.
• Capable of working through complex problems alone or with others to provide logical solutions.

Compensation Data

The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
