Delta Hotels by Marriott Waltham Abbey is seeking a dedicated Night Duty Manager to join the Front Office team. You will oversee overnight front desk operations, lead the night staff, and ensure a secure, welcoming environment for guests while completing night audit procedures.

The role requires strong hospitality experience, leadership and a solid grasp of safety and security protocols. A proactive approach to guest service and issue resolution is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality front desk operations and overnight shifts.
• Ability to lead a night team and ensure smooth, secure operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures, fire and security regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle guest requests and complaints.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day front desk operation overnight, ensuring procedures are adhered to and policies are followed
• Lead the night team to greet guests warmly and maintain a secure overnight environment
• Ensure night audit procedures are completed and discrepancies rectified
• Process check-ins and check-outs and arrange alternative accommodation for overbooking situations
• Ensure the security of the hotel and guests through regular documented night patrols
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Handle guest complaints promptly and log them correctly
• Be conversant with fire, health and safety procedures and respond in emergencies
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all safety legislation
