Job summary

Focal Systems in Manchester, UK seeks a Field Service Technician for installations on a fixed-term basis (6 months), 20 hours per week, traveling to customer sites. The role emphasizes overnight visits and successful deployment of our retail AI system.

You will install cameras, configure equipment, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality KPIs are met. Valid UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in installations or related work.
• Strong technical troubleshooting for hardware/software issues.
• Ability to handle power tools and installation equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware, mount, connect and configure per standards.
• Respond quickly to installation requests and meet SLAs.
• Maintain records of work, parts used and time spent.
• Onboard products into the system and operate tools safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and work with team to complete installs.
