Job summary

Focal Systems is expanding its UK operations and seeks a dedicated Field Service Technician to complete overnight installations at customer sites. You will deploy shelf-mounted cameras and ensure the system is installed, configured, and ready to operate.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, ability to work nights and weekends, and physical stamina to stand for long periods while using power tools. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract at about 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous field service or installation experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks for extended periods.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware and configure to company standards.
• Respond to installation requests and meet customer SLAs.
• Maintain records of installation activities and parts used.
• Onboard/scanner products into the system.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team to complete installations on time.
• Ensure installations meet quality and KPI targets.
