Job summary

Focal Systems is expanding its operations in Lancashire and seeks a Field Service Technician to install and commission our camera-based retail AI system at customer sites. This 6-month fixed-term role averages 20 hours per week, with overnight visits to stores, driving to sites, and meeting safety and quality KPIs.

The role requires practical skills, proficiency with power tools, and strong communication to coordinate with store teams and supervisors. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in installations.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware: mounting, connecting and configuring per standards.
• Respond promptly to installation requests and meet customer SLAs.
• Maintain records of installation activities and time spent using company tools.
• Onboard/scanning products into the system.
