Job summary
Focal Systems in Essex, UK is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to complete installations for customers across the region, primarily overnight. You will be accountable for successful installation, deployment and adoption of our system, with a focus on safety and quality KPIs.
This six‑month fixed‑term contract requires a valid UK driving licence, willingness to travel to sites, and proficiency with power tools.
Qualifications
- Proven field service experience in installation or related roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware/software issues.
- Proficiency with power tools and installation gear.
Responsibilities
- Install camera hardware and configure to company standards.
- Respond promptly to installation requests and meet customer SLAs.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, parts used, and time spent.
- Onboard/scanning products into the system.
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently during installations.
- Follow safety guidelines to minimize risks during visits.
- Collaborate with team for timely installations.
- Ensure installation tasks meet quality standards.
- Meet or exceed KPIs for speed and quality.
- Communicate progress and issues to supervisors.
