Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to complete installations for customers across the UK. The role involves overnight visits to sites, mounting and configuring camera hardware, and ensuring high-quality, timely installations.

You will travel to client sites, meet safety standards, and maintain detailed records of work performed. This 6-month fixed-term contract requires a valid UK driving licence, physical stamina, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Technician Experience: Previous experience in a field technician role, preferably in field service, installation, construction, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware: mounting, connecting and configuring in accordance with company standards.
• Respond promptly to installation requests and ensure customer SLAs are met.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, using company-provided tools
• Onboarding/scanning products into the system.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during installation visits.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure installation tasks meet quality standards.
• Meet or exceed speed and quality KPIs consistently.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on progress and address any issues or challenges encountered during store visits.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
