Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking exceptional individuals to join the Patient Booking Hub, supporting referrals and outpatient appointment bookings across multiple sites within the Trust.

You will need outstanding interpersonal and telephone skills, professional communication with patients and colleagues, and a good aptitude for using a variety of IT systems to deliver a high quality, streamlined booking service and improved patient experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication with patients and Trust colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide an easy and positive experience for patients who need an appointment.
• Reduce the incidence/occurrence of/number of missed appointments and patients not attending
• Provide an effective and standardised booking process
• Adopting of new digital technologies
• Maximise the expertise of our administrative staff by providing an excellent environment equipped to support the work
