Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a friendly receptionist to cover predominantly the Out Patient Clinic at Laureate House, with potential to work at other locations across the Trust.
The post holder will meet and greet patients and staff, handle telephone contacts, update the EPR system, arrange appointments and provide general administrative support to the clinical team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly individual to join our team and work as the receptionist covering predominantly, the Out Patient Clinic at Laureate House, although they may be expected to work at other locations across the Trust from time to time.
The main duties of the post holder will be to meet and greet patients as well as clinical and clerical staff. The post holder will be the first line of telephone contact to all service users, carers/relatives, displaying a warm, friendly and helpful attitude always.
Duties will include, receiving referrals, arranging appointments, updating this on the EPR system, recording messages accurately for all team members as well as managing telephone calls for the area of responsibility and transferringcalls appropriately in a professional manner as well as providing admin support to the clinical team.
The post holder will meet and greet the General Public, Clinical and Clerical Staff and will ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
The postholder will provide an efficient and professional Reception service ensuring quality service to all users. The post holder will also be required to undertake general clerical duties within the reception.
To have a flexible approach in providing admin support to the multi-disciplinary teams working with a client group with mental health problems. There will be client and carer telephone contact and also, face‑to‑face contact at some sites and therefore, good communication skills are essential.
