Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust in Wythenshawe is seeking a friendly receptionist to cover the Out Patient Clinic at Laureate House. You will meet and greet patients, staff and visitors, act as first point of contact by phone, and provide admin support to the clinical team.

The role requires a polite telephone manner, strong organisational skills, and experience in NHS administration. Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £25,272 per annum.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or Level 4+).
• Minimum 2 years of admin experience.
• Previous receptionist experience, NHS admin/reception experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet the General Public, Clinical and Clerical Staff.
• Provide efficient reception service and general clerical duties.
• Handle telephone calls, transfer calls, and provide admin support to the clinical team.
• Receive referrals and arrange appointments; update EPR system and record messages.
