Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or NVQ Level 2 in customer care or administration (or equivalent).
• Experience of working in a customer care or reception environment.
• Good data entry and keyboard skills; able to prioritise workload; clear written and verbal communication; accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients attending outpatient clinics.
• Direct patients and signpost to services such as pharmacy.
• Support car parking and Blue Badge registration where required.
• Update patient details accurately on Trust systems.
• Complete clinic cash up to agreed procedures for follow-up actions.
• Chase missing patient notes and coordinate with porters to keep clinic flow.
• Distribute patient questionnaires and circulate lists to teams.
