Job summary

National Trust at Dunstable Downs welcomes visitors and helps set them up for a great day, outdoors in all weathers. You’ll engage with guests, share knowledge of the area, and strive to exceed expectations.

In this permanent role, you will support selling memberships, induct new volunteers, and help promote events such as the Easter Trail and Kite Connect Festival. You may cover shifts at Ashridge Estate and Shaws Corner.

• A team player, but also happy to work on your own initiative
• Well-organised and adaptable
• Willing to learn new skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great all-round customer service experience and greet visitors
• Answer queries and share the right information to visitors
• Encourage visitors to join National Trust and grow membership
• Induct new volunteers to the team and assist with on-site tasks
• Promote and support events such as Easter Trail and Kite Connect Festival
• Assist with keeping the site clean, tidy and presentable
