Job summary

National Trust Shugborough Estate is seeking a friendly Welcome & Service Team Member to greet visitors, share property information and ensure an enjoyable visit.

You will work mainly on weekends, with some weekdays during school holidays, on a zero-hour, fixed-term contract until 28 February 2027. Training includes an online assessment instead of a CV, with potential to support membership growth and events.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and ability to work on own initiative.
• Well-organised and adaptable with a proactive attitude.
• Willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm welcome and information at Visitor Reception.
• Direct visitors and assist with car parking and queries.
• Support membership growth and engage visitors in National Trust activities.
• Assist with events and social media promotion.
