Job summary

Harrington Starr in London is seeking an SME Business Development Representative to own outbound prospecting for independent lettings agencies. This role is all outbound with no warm leads, requiring proactive calling and multi-channel outreach to build a pipeline from scratch.

You will target up to six branches, make 40–60 dials a day, and qualify gatekeepers to owner or director level, uncovering real pain and budget before booking demos for the AE.

Qualifications

• Relentless on the phone and high-volume outbound.
• Hands-on user of AI tools/LLMs.
• PropTech BDR/SDR background or SME prospecting experience.
• Pipeline-builder mindset with ambition to move into closing.
• Commercially sharp enough to assess value, not just activity.

Responsibilities

• Work a target list of independent lettings agencies (up to ~6 branches).
• Make 40–60 dials a day plus email/LinkedIn follow-up.
• Qualify gatekeepers to owner/director level and uncover pain and budget.
• Book qualified demos onto the AE's calendar with a clean handover.
• Feed learnings back to the playbook and update scripts/criteria.
• Report to the co-founders.
