National Highways is seeking an Operational Technology Configuration Manager to strengthen our Digital Services capability. You will manage configuration across critical OT systems, coordinate RFCs and changes, and support deployment in a safety-critical environment. Hybrid role with two days in the office, across UK locations.

You will work with operational teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure accurate configurations, controlled processes, and robust cyber security alignment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience configuring, maintaining and supporting complex technical systems in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of configuration and change management with formal processes.
• Analytical approach to problem solving and risk assessment.
• Experience in incident management, preferably in safety-critical environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship and continuous improvement mindset.

Aufgaben

• Manage and maintain configuration information for critical OT systems, ensuring accuracy and full lifecycle control.
• Process configuration requests and RFCs through governance to minimise operational risk.
• Plan, test, validate and deploy new or upgraded OT systems integrated into live environments.
• Provide specialist support during incidents, coordinating resolutions with teams and suppliers.
• Maintain asset, geographical and account records in line with cyber security standards.
• Support advanced traffic management systems and site data design configurations.
