Job summary

National Highways is recruiting for an Operational Technology Configuration Manager to strengthen in-house digital capability across Cyber Security and Digital Services. This hybrid role involves two days per week in the office, UK-wide locations, and occasional travel for team meetings.

You will manage configuration for critical OT systems, coordinate changes, support testing and deployment, and provide incident response support in a safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, maintaining and supporting complex OT systems in live environments.
• Proven ability to manage configuration change through formal processes and governance.
• Strong analytical approach to fault investigation and impact assessment of changes.
• Experience in incident management and coordinating resolution with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain configuration information for critical Operational Technology systems, ensuring accuracy and lifecycle control.
• Process configuration requests and RFCs through governance to minimise operational risk and downtime.
• Support planning, testing, validation and deployment of OT systems in live environments.
• Provide specialist support during incidents, identifying risks and coordinating resolutions with teams and suppliers.
• Maintain asset, geographical and account records in line with security standards, improving documentation and processes.
• Contribute to advanced traffic management system and site data design configurations across the network.
