Job summary

National Highways is seeking an Operational Technology Configuration Manager to safeguard the reliability and safety of OT systems across the Strategic Road Network. You will manage configurations, coordinate controlled changes and support incident resolution in a safety-critical environment.

The role is hybrid, requiring two days in the office and occasional travel to National Highways locations across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to configure, maintain and support complex OT systems in live operations.
• Experience applying formal change controls and incident response procedures.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving and fault investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration information for critical OT systems, ensuring accuracy and lifecycle control.
• Process RFCs and coordinated changes to minimise operational risk and downtime.
• Plan, test and deploy upgrades; provide incident support and timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with teams, suppliers and stakeholders to improve documentation and processes.
