A health service provider in the UK seeks a dedicated individual to coordinate the matching and allocation of human organs for transplantation. The successful candidate will engage with various medical professionals, ensure timely transportation of organs, and support both urgent patient registrations and research placements. Hub Operations provide information efficiently and effectively to those in the wider donation and transplant community to make transplants happen, ensure patient safety and to help fulfil our statutory obligations. This includes facilitating up to 1,600 per year, conduct over 39,000 offers and ensuring that 4500 potential transplant recipients receive an offer of a live saving or improving transplant. In this role you will co-ordinate the matching and allocation of human organs for transplantation, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to the UK, Republic of Ireland and European Organ Exchange Organisations.
