Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is recruiting for an Order Processing Administrator in Northampton. The temporary role offers £15 per hour and an ASAP start, with a potential to become permanent after 12 weeks. Working Monday to Thursday 9am–5pm and Friday 9am–3pm, you will handle orders, stock checks, invoices and customer communications.

You'll need to be highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable using computer systems; prior order processing or logistics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident working with computer systems and databases.
• A good communicator with a proactive approach.
• Previous experience in order processing, stock administration, logistics or a WMS environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Entering and updating orders on company systems.
• Checking product availability and stock levels.
• Communicating with customers about orders and delivery dates.
• Preparing invoices, delivery notes and other paperwork.
• Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Maintaining accurate customer and order records.
• Handling returns, refunds and order amendments.
• Supporting general office administration.
• Ensuring orders are completed and dispatched on time.
• Have good initiative and be keen to learn.
