The role

As an Order Book Clerk youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of procurement activities that underpin our defence and engineering projects. This is a fast-paced detail-driven position where your organisational skills and proactive approach will help maintain efficiency and compliance across critical supply chains.

Day-to-day youll work closely with suppliers and internal teams making a tangible difference to national security projects while developing your career in a dynamic environment.

  • Contacting suppliers via phone and email to confirm and expedite critical or overdue purchase orders
  • Completing order book reviews and managing allocated suppliers
  • Processing supplier proof of delivery (PODs) promptly to reduce receipt queries
  • Resolving invoice queries to comply with prompt payment policies and attending aged debt reviews
  • Using data system capabilities and best practice processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency

This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based on site at Andover.

Essential experience of the Order Book Clerk
