Job summary

TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring in Glasgow seeks a Transport & Operations Administrator to support the busy branch. You will help ensure smooth day-to-day transport, administration, and customer service operations.

Working with the Branch Manager, Internal Sales, and Drivers, you will improve efficiency so teammates can focus on customer service and growth. You will coordinate routing, handle paperwork, and support sales during peaks.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport administration, logistics, or a similar operational role would be advantageous.
• Excellent administrative and IT skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage transport administration and vehicle compliance, including PMI bookings.
• Complete driver hours paperwork and maintain transport records.
• Plan and coordinate daily vehicle routing and related paperwork.
• Handle transport-related administration and paperwork.
• Process customer returns, liaising with Redditch branch to minimise stock holding.
• Book stock into the system accurately.
• Unpick and unpack customer orders as required.
• Complete end-of-day driver paperwork and report vehicle defects.
• Produce end-of-day invoicing and clear outstanding invoices next morning.
• Support Internal Sales during busy periods by handling calls and processing orders.
• Input customer quotations into Salesforce.
• Contribute to branch efficiency by owning admin and transport processes.
