Operations Support Coordinator

Greenhead College is seeking an Operations Support Coordinator to provide high‑level administrative and organisational support to the three College Directors and the wider college community.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £28,914.46 per annum (£31,324 per annum FTE) – point 14 of the Support Staff Pay Scale.

FTE: 0.9231. Pension: West Yorkshire Pension Fund, plus a Death in Service Grant equal to 3 × your annual salary.

Contract type: Permanent.

Working Hours

37 hours per week, 8.30 am – 4.30 pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30 am – 4.00 pm (Friday, term‑time; 39 weeks). Two full weeks during the college summer holidays (weeks 3 and 4) are included, plus 37 floating additional hours throughout the academic year to meet operational needs (equivalent of 42 weeks in total).

Job Responsibilities

The postholder will provide high‑level administrative and organisational support, ensuring the smooth running of assigned areas. Key duties include:

  • Supporting the three College Directors across multiple functions.
  • Overseeing and managing the college helpdesk where implemented.
  • Handling a range of data management tasks.

  • Exceptional organisational and coordination skills.
  • Strong initiative and problem‑solving ability, with responsibility for defined areas of work.
