Role: Operations Manager

Location: Paisley, PA3 1RB

Salary: £35,000

Hours a week: 37.5 (Monday to Friday)

Contract type: Permanent

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Manage daily operations for the Paisley branch.
  • Oversee labour planning and supplier engagement to optimise resources and costs
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and industry regulations
  • Own the branch P&L with a focus on profitability and margin growth
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency through data insights
  • Lead customer service initiatives, resolving issues promptly and maintaining white glove standards
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Engagement teams to align service delivery with customer needs
  • Lead recruitment, training, retention and development to build a motivated and high‑performing workforce
About You:
  • Proven leadership experience managing a small, complex operations with twelve staff
  • Strong P&L and budget management skills with a track record of driving profitability
  • Expertise in workforce planning and supplier management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills from shop floor to board level
  • In‑depth knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance standards
  • Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Commercially aware and highly data literate, able to turn insight into action
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
