Responsibilities
  • Work with the London and Mumbai squads to provide excellent and seamless 1st and 2nd line support of detected issues, taking corrective action or escalating further as appropriate.
  • Actively identify gaps in Ops monitoring and tooling, and work with the appropriate team to implement effective solutions.
  • Respond to both internal and external requests effectively and efficiently, ensuring they are resolved within a timely manner.
  • Deploy, configure and test new software / updates to the Market Data application stack on behalf of Development teams.
  • Create and / or update documentation as needed, to maintain Ops knowledge base.
  • Undertake such training and / or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role

  • Knowledge of network stacks, protocols and technologies.

  • Experience with Enterprise and open source monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic
  • Experience of working with CI / CD tooling such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Harness, Kubernetes, Terraform
  • Experience of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, demanding IT environment with a strong focus on business outcomes.
  • Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
  • Any experience in the financial services industry is also a plus.
