Operations Colleague - IQ Glass Group Grendon
Manufacturing Fabricator

IQ Glass are the UK's leader in high specification architectural glazing and associated framing systems. Their Group of companies employ more than 100 staff and is one of the most prestigious brands in their field. The company prides itself on being a modern employer and seeks to develop individuals to their maximum potential.

Our operations are based in our premises near Grendon, Warwickshire. We need a colleague for our diverse manufacturing processes including levels of aluminium fabrication, machine operation including CNC & skilled in using hand tools.

Experience:
  • The hand skills & dexterity to carry out all different levels of manufacturing processes.
  • Machine operator experience.
  • Experienced in aluminium fabrication or similar environment, however full training will be provided for the right candidates.
  • To work with our existing team of colleagues in our fabrication team.
Requirements:
  • Responsible for contributing to the overall success of the Company by supporting the day-to-day running of the factory. Liaising with other factory colleagues, site management team to maintain a smooth flow of work throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge of the various factory processes ensuring the quality standards are achieved.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of legislation and regulation affecting the factory.
  • Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety at all times, reporting any incidents to the appropriate manager & maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the site at all times.
  • Working to achieving the company key goals & KPI's including Safety, Quality, Cost & Productivity, Identified by the management team.
  • Be flexible & proactive looking for improved ways of working (kaizen).
  • You must live within 30 mins travel time of our site CV9 2EX.
  • Excellent time keeping, enthusiastic, and positive can-do attitude.
  • Good communicator must understand and speak English clearly.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of factory work including moving stock around the warehouse facilities.
Details:
  • Full time appointment.
  • Hours: 40-hour week / Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Overtime available.
  • Starting Salary: £12 - £15 per hour
