Village Hotel Sheffield is opening a brand-new front-of-house operation and seeks an exceptional Host Manager to own the lobby experience from day zero. You will build the team, set service standards, and drive an engaging guest journey as guests begin arriving for the January start.

Lead the pre-opening, manage the numbers and drive upsell and ADR targets. After doors open, you will pace shifts, handle guest queries with warmth, and ensure a memorable first impression that turns first-time

Qualificações

• Previous front‑of‑house leadership experience is essential.

Responsabilidades

• First: The Pre-Opening Setup & The Team — recruit, train and coach your Host Team from January, embedding service standards and a culture of warmth and energy.
• Second: The Commercial Reality & Standards — own the numbers from day one, balance wage costs with brand standards, audit daily discrepancies, and drive upselling to ADR and Club Fill targets.
• Third: The Floor & The Experience — lead high-energy shift briefings, read the room, resolve guest queries and complaints with emotional intelligence, and ensure flawless checkout to convert first-time guests into Village advocates.
