Job summary

AVI-SPL UK & Ireland is seeking an Onsite Support Technician to deliver face-to-face IT support at campus sites. You’ll troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, manage AD/MFA tasks, and assist with Endpoint and MDM administration while guiding users with professional, customer-focused service.

In this role you’ll collaborate with the Global Helpdesk and other ITS teams to ensure rapid issue resolution, document solutions, and contribute to knowledge resources for ongoing user education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on L1/L2 support.
• Experience in higher education IT environments is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with RMM/MDM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-premises technical support for faculty, staff and students.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and account access issues.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with management, Global Helpdesk and technical teams for resolution.
