Proactive Appointments Ltd. is recruiting an IT Technician for a busy educational environment. The role is fully onsite and reports to the IT Manager, supporting staff and students while maintaining a secure and reliable IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include 1st/2nd line support, managing Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, Teams and SharePoint, and deploying devices with SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopilot.

Qualifications

• Senior IT Technician or similar IT Support role experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and on-premises AD.
• Knowledge of Teams and SharePoint administration.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• VMware virtualization experience.
• Good understanding of Windows Server and Windows desktop OS.
• Strong cyber security and data protection awareness.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality 1st and 2nd line IT support across the school.
• Work with IT Manager to keep systems available and secure.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and support end users.
• Manage Active Directory (Azure and on-premises), Group Policy and AD Federation Services.
• Support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint in classroom environments.
• Deploy and manage devices using SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Support VMware virtual server infrastructure.
• Maintain Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.
• Assist with data protection, cyber security and safeguarding compliance.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and user guides.
