Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks an Onsite IT Support Engineer to deliver hands-on desk-side and on-site support at our UK facilities. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage local equipment, and collaborate with the remote administration team to ensure seamless operations for end users.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in end-user support, ITSM experience, and Microsoft certifications. The role includes training, career growth, and a focus on high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years end user support across multiple platforms.
• Experience with ITSM tools and VIP user support.
• Microsoft Certified Professional.
• Knowledge of SCCM, AD, McAfee, MS Outlook, Office 365, ServiceNow.
• Willing to continuously learn new platforms and tools.
• Broad understanding of IT platforms and services (networking, hardware, cloud, etc.).
• End-user mindset; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Desk Side support to end users when incidents cannot be resolved remotely.
• Provide HW Break & Fix support to replace defective units.
• Provide Hands & Eyes support for infrastructure tasks under remote admin.
• Own local equipment and data.
• Support BU specifics with high level of service.
• Deploy and manage printers, storage, and peripherals.
• Provide IT support based on TechStop model.
• Deliver on-site and/or remote support for end users in remote locations.
• Support server maintenance upgrades on-site.
• Provide L1 support for audio/visual equipment.
• Offer VIP support with high level of service.
• Support events with technical setup and resources.
• Perform hardware and software IMACDs, reinstallations, updates, and downloads.
• Align with Employee Experience and Digital Citizen models.
• Be a partner in change management and ATAWAD.
• Support Schneider Digital Strategy and policies.
