Job summary

Spectrum IT in Winchester is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a small IT team. The role focuses on 1st and 2nd line support, keeping systems and devices running smoothly across the business. You will handle a mix of tickets, troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2022 and Microsoft 365, and assist with IT deployments.

The position is fully onsite with 8:00am–5:00pm hours and modest benefits. Excellent organisation and the ability to work independently are essential; occasional travel

Qualifications

• At least 24 months' IT experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 cloud environments.
• Experience with Windows Server 2022 and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, email and group policies in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the business.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, email and group policies.
• Maintain IT asset records and technical documentation.
• Assist with updates, patching, backups and IT equipment deployments.
• Work independently and manage competing priorities.
