Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Engineer for a fully onsite role in Winchester with a family‑owned UK home and business moving company. You will support day-to-day technology across Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, servers, telephony, and devices, ensuring systems stay reliable and secure.

Join a busy team handling incidents, deployments, and ongoing maintenance while working across a broad range of technologies.

Qualifications

2+ years IT experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 Cloud environments or recognised IT certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support to users across the business.
Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues across the network.
Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange.
Manage user accounts, permissions, mail and group policies in a hybrid Microsoft environment.
Support physical and virtual servers, storage, networking and cloud services.
Assist with system updates, patching, backups, upgrades and deployments.
Monitor network and system security, including firewalls, antivirus and endpoint protection.
Respond to security alerts and investigate incidents.
Maintain IT asset inventories and technical documentation.
