Job summary

Advania UK in Brackley is seeking a Field Engineer to provide dedicated onsite technical support for a major client. You will handle hardware replacement, device preparation and accurate asset records while travelling to client locations across a broad rural area.

The role requires strong communication, meticulous documentation and a full UK driving licence. Salary ranges from £37,000 to £40,000 per year, plus a £450 monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

At least one year in a relevant technical support role.
Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel to remote sites.
Willingness to undergo BPSS/DBS checks and related screening as part of the role.

Responsibilities

Travel to client locations across a large rural area with Brackley as the central hub.
Deliver or contribute to the delivery of project tasks, incidents and user support per requirements and guidance.
Ensure successful delivery, sign-off and handover to support services after project activity.
Create, maintain and update accurate technical documentation, asset information and configuration records.
Allocate and record time against tasks and projects in detail.
Own assigned tickets and drive them through to resolution.
Keep incidents and requests updated in the ticketing system.
Assist onsite team with troubleshooting and hardware replacements.
Contribute as a team member to achieve objectives and support client relations.
