Job summary

Getronics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the UK. This role covers field service and on-site client support, ensuring IT hardware and related services meet quality standards.

You will deliver proactive maintenance, respond to incidents, and provide on-site assistance with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. A full UK driving licence is essential; training and development opportunities are provided through our NorthStar platform.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving license is required.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard check will be conducted.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and environments.
• Strong customer service skills with analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and support for field-based clients and on-site IT hardware services.
• Ensure incidents and requests are handled in line with standards and procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service on-site and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Train, coach, and support junior field service engineers as needed.
• Coordinate between clients and vendors to resolve issues within agreed timescales.
• Resolve hardware issues and basic software problems.
