Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment in Brackley is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to provide onsite IT support across client locations within an 80km radius. You will handle hardware replacement, device setup, incidents and service requests, owning tasks through to resolution and maintaining accurate asset records.

This hands-on role requires problem-solving, strong communication with users, and willingness to travel to remote sites with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in IT support or field engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical and end-user support across client locations.
• Build and configure laptops and mobile devices and complete hardware replacements.
• Troubleshoot desktops, printers, access points and other IT equipment.
• Support IT project activities and successful handover into support.
• Own incidents, service requests and assigned tasks through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate tickets, asset records and technical documentation.
• Deliver a professional and responsive service to users and colleagues.
