Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join a onsite IT team in Stevenage. You will handle first-line IT support, assist users face-to-face and remotely, and manage tickets through the internal system, ensuring quick resolution and high service levels.

The role focuses on Windows 10, Office 365, AD, Azure, SharePoint, and AV for meeting room setups. You will escalate complex incidents and maintain excellent customer communication throughout.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support within a Microsoft environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with SharePoint, Windows 10 and Office 365.
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure.
• Experience with AV for meeting room setups and basic issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Desktop Support to end users (face-to-face and remote).
• Handle incoming support calls and walk-up requests.
• Triage, manage and update support tickets.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate when needed.
